It's not all derelict hospitals (more pages to come). On my whirlwind tour of Croydon not so long ago Cookiebizkit, Midnight Runner, Torchman, JonBoy and I found oursleves rolling under a fence an into 'blue oval land'. The first thing that struck me was the size of the place, it was huge, the second thing was the road works that had taken place! Manhole covers strewn on the road and trenches extending from them confirmed that 'the unwashed' had visited armed at the very least with JCB's. Everywhere you looked copper had been stripped from the site, right down to the telephone lines!! Add to this the damage caused by local 'yoof' you can probably imagine the devestation was total.
