Bagger 258

Built in the DDR in 1964 by the heavy machinery Lauchhammer company.
Its job was to remove spoil from the layers of coal. It also removed a thin layer of coal to power itself. Due to it's blue paint it was kncknamed "Blue Wonder. It ceased working in late 2002 and now stands alone in a field.
