Farm House
We recently took our European exploring to a whole new level. After seeing a single photo of a church it was decided we needed to visit Poland. With 3 explores planned we booked flights, a hotel and a car. We also mailed a Polish explorer whose website we'd found. This was going to go one of two ways! Now I've never seen the movie 'The Hostel' but Alex had and refused to tell me what happened. Exploring in Poland is a whole new experience, for a start if it has a roof then you've struck gold, secondly and most importantly, site security. It appears that site security in this part of the world is either bored, about 15 years old, so drunk you instantly become their new best friend or absent. Either way due to each of these states of being we got to see some amazing stuff.
You don't explore buildings, you view objekts and at this point I need to say a huge thank you to our guides and new found friends Travis, Marta, Christopher, Natalia and Maciej who made our weekend an unforgetable one. It's the first time we've ever felt like proper 'foreigners' but the guys made us feel right at home. I can't tell you much about this objekt other than we stopped on the way to "the church" to view a church and this was on the other side of the road. The staircase was a sight to behold and worth the squeeze.
