Welcome to Rats n Ruins.

This is my personal collection of photographs taken whilst exploring some of the more unusual sights in my 'local' towns and cities. Urb-ex is not for everyone, it's time consuming and can be dangerous, derelict buildings hold many dangers, asbestos, lead paint, rotting floors and ceilings, broken glass, needles, 'undesireable people'.....you get the picture.

There are many sites deicated to UE (and most are far more informative and professional than this) please take the time to visit some of them, I've not compiled the links page for my health!

If after viewing this site you think you'd like to go see for yourself then all you really need is an enquiring mind, some sturdy boots, a decent torch and a modicom of common sense. Please remember one thing though, it was your idea, not mine, I'm not responsible for your actions.

The pictures in the galleries are my favorites from much larger sets, if you would like a copy for whatever reason then drop me a line at kingrat@ratsnruins.co.uk I am sure we can reach an agreement.

One final thing that I feel I must point out, I am not a vandal. I don't force entry, I don't take things from the sites and I don't carry spray cans, pens or stencils. "Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints".
